Environmental philosophy

All of the employees act to decide the framework of business activities with an aim to "leave future generations a better global environment," and we will strive to reduce environmental impact.

Environmental policy

Our chemical products including nonionic surfactants, which are supplied to cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and other manufacturers as socially indispensable products. The products greatly contribute to society by means of their performance, quality, price and reliability.
Our business uses a huge amount of electricity and other energy, as well as materials and resources in a series of processes from chemical production, distribution, up to disposal.
Keeping that in mind, we aim to promote the following environmental management activities and supply products that are safe for the environment.

  1. We understand the impact of our business activities on the environment accurately, set environmental goals and action plans for each division within the realms of technological and economical possibility regarding elements with a large impact on the environment such as consumption of raw materials, energy and other resources and emission of industrial waste so as to decrease the environmental burden and prevent environmental pollution. We also regularly review these activities and continuously improve them.
  2. We observe environment-related laws, ordinances, arrangements and other requirements that we accept.
  3. We fully inform all of the employees and the relevant contractors through environmental training, daily activities and other methods.
  4. We disclose our environmental policy on our website and provide the policy to those who request it.

Based on the aforesaid environmental policy, we set up an environmental preservation steering group, arranged an internal auditing system, and maintain and improve an environmental management system in order to proactively promote eco-activities through self-management activities.
