In February 2013, our Utsunomiya Factory was the first in Japan to receive the EFfCI GMP certification, a European standard for cosmetics ingredients. We then expanded our certifications, with our Nasu Factory receiving this certification in February 2025.
We have received the ISO9001:2015 certification, an international standard for quality management systems. Together with our recent addition of the EFfCI GMP certification at our Nasu Factory, we have further strengthened our system for managing the quality and safety of products.
We will continue exhausting efforts to further improve our quality control system so that we can deliver high-quality and safe cosmetic ingredients to our customers.

What is EFfCI GMP?
EFfCI GMP is the GMP* specialized in cosmetic raw materials formulated by the European Federation for Cosmetic Ingredients (EFfCI). The formulation process referred to as GMP is the guideline for pharmaceutical excipients prepared by the International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council and the Pharmaceutical Quality Group (IPEC-POG) and is also the framework of ISO 9001:2008. It is known as a strict standard, including requirements that the ISO does not cover as GMP requirements.
*Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) means rules and a system that are established to ensure the safe manufacturing of products and maintenance of constant quality in all processes from warehousing of raw materials, manufacturing to shipping.
